Greetings from mouse,
Omega sometimes whispers into mouse's ear, as she's drifting off to sleep about different things. He'll remind her during those quiet times how much he loves her, how important she is. Other times how much her submission means to him. It's nice, mouse loves the sound of his voice and it calms her. Last night it was especially needed after a night of worrying. His flight again was delayed. He didn't get home until VERY late...but still his homecoming was so wonderful for mouse.
In other news...
Last night the baby slept straight through until morning!!!
Of course, mouse ran in there all crazy like thinking something was wrong. Daddy remained in bed, all awake but calm...mouse returned, collapsed on the bed and said all was well...
Well, all was not well...he was now wide awake having just had what amounted to a nap...so was mouse....what to do..what to do...
Well we did, then mouse blogged..
Last night mouse was really listening to the song Time by Pink Floyd..yanno the one on Dark Side of the Moon...it has this line in it...
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.
That line kept playing in mouse's head over and over...because somehow missed that starting gun that said..it's time to run. It's time to live...
Song selection: Breathe (Reprise); Pink Floyd.

Mmmmm... Pink Floyd really knew how to phrase a sentence into your soul, didn't they? :)

Ooh lala, a baby sleeping all night is a wonderful thing!
Mine is three and still doesn't do that.
Hi mouse :) Nothing like getting a full nights sleep, right? I'm so glad to see you are doing so well (just caught up on your last 18 posts), hope your knee is feeling better. Thanks for your comment the other day too :)
love and hugs,
Ally
Glad he's home safe and sound, and glad that you are happy. :-) Sometimes those little get-aways are just what we need to re-set things!
Hugs to you both,
Mystress
Congrats on the baby sleeping through the night, that is always something to celebrate.
As for missing the starting gun, you didn't miss it, it just didn't go off when you thought it would. Sometimes even when you are prepared for it, it can still startle you.
A great milestone i think that is when the baby sleeps through the night, my daughter did from approx 2 months my son on the other hand was nearly one...and it makes such a difference to get that good nights sleep.
I think i must have been on a slow go this morning or not enough coffee because i had to read this through a couple times before it clicked what you meant by "well we did" or perhaps it was one of my blonde moments!
Love Pink Floyd
best wishes
