Trick or Treat?

First, so sorry for being late in coming back here to talk about the party we had. It was a HUGE success, even if the prime rib roast was slightly over-cooked (the oven thermometer decided to take that moment to die). It was still a lot of fun.

A wonderful few of mouse's girlfriends stayed late to help clean-up. Thank goodness because she woke to a clean home and kitchen. Really, we all need girlfriends like that. Daddy even had good time, which is amazing since he had a horrible day...maybe it was just what he needed to relax?

Friday, after mouse tidied the house and shopped, she began working on babygirl's first halloween -- heehee and babygirl was the cutest pumpkin in the patch! Ya..

Then we spent the next week getting ready for Halloween, which happens to be Daddy's favorite thing...ya...

Got all the props set up, food was made for the people coming over (all halloween type stuff -- like Witches Toes (chicken drummies)...batwiches...goo with eyeballs that lit up...Some friends with kids came by and it was fun.

After doing all the usual stuff, carving a happy Jack-o-Lantern and all that candy (seriously isn't that best part of having little ones? You get to parade them around begging for candy that they'll NEVER eat). We got home and began separating the good candy (Snickers, etc.) from the other candy.
Our youngest got her first taste of a pixie stick (who knew they still had those) omg...kid crack. But plain chocolate is still the favorite favorite!

We ended up giving much of the candy away (because we actually ran out of candy to hand out -- now it's unclear if this was because of many kids or if our kid guests ate it all).

Then, much later after the children were all tucked into the beds in a glucose induced coma, Daddy called mouse to our bedroom. Daddy told mouse to first remove her clothing then to kneel. He had mouse suck him, which she loved doing -- but after...Daddy sat on the chaise and patted his lap. He pulled mouse over his knee. He made mouse very nervous. He assured mouse she'd done nothing wrong. He rubbed her bottom telling how beautiful she was that evening. Then. SMACK! He hit her bottom...

Whoa....back up; a blog about kink that contains something kinky?

Yep! Daddy reddened mouse's bottom beautifully. After he showed her his handiwork...seriously. Oh wow -- it was incredible. It felt oh so right. Like coming home after being away...for like ever.
Then later as he held mouse, he told her she could expect more of this......

Ohhhhh yesssssss!

Thank you Daddy!

**waves from Oregon now** Hi mouse!!
So glad to hear the party was a success!! Yay!!
Love Halloween when the monkeys are small! Youngest monkey is now officially a teen instead of tween. Now Halloween is about the teen parties. So H and I readied ourselves to hand out candy alone. We didn't get a single trick or treater. :(
Needless to say, H will be taking the candy to work...can't have 6 bags of candy in the house! lol
Miss you!
Hugs,
mg

Pleased to hear the dinner party was a success all the stress of the build up was worth it....kudos to you though because i just couldnt cope with it.

Do you think there is a possibility that you both might move back into doing more s/m or is it completley off the table?

It is good to hear from you. And it sounds like it was a great party. I love the part about O reassuring you that you had done nothing wrong. That makes it all such a vastly different, wonderful thing.

So glad the dinner party went well - not that it wasn't expected. Wow, good girlfriends indeed! It is so nice to wake up to a house that isn't a disaster. Glad the kids had fun with their Halloween - it is an AWESOME holiday! I am so glad you get more spankings in your future. That is wonderful!

So happy to hear your dinner party was a success! They are a lot of fun but also a lot of work! I was wondering how your interaction with Daddy changes when you have friends over? Is it that you seem to be more of a traditional wife differing to him or do you get more outspoken? I know you have your own opinions views just wondering how it works when interacting with friends.

and now mouse can say she does too. LOL

It really was a lot of fun.

Honestly, mouse's never been a fan of halloween. It's ok....

Daddy loves it tho and now with the little one...it's ok.

Tori,

Honestly it's not very likely. But we could more more into a spanking area. Daddy still has a few crops and canes he didn't get rid of. And a flogger or two..

It's doubtful we'll go back to the big involved scenes (we have no extra room to store the stuff and keep it from prying eyes...yanno? Besides he's more zen now anyway...all about simplicity.

Hugs,
mouse

oh totally greengirl!!!! Had he not, mouse would never have been able to relax tho...lol.

There is a process to punishment and he didn't do any of that.

Now now...it really wasn't completely expected ;-) Those girlfriends are wonderful!! Seriously, not having to clean up in the morning was the best!

And ya halloween was fun...And totally looking forward to more spankings if Daddy wants to.

Anonymous,

Dinner parties can be so very mentally satisfying. Putting it all together.

Many people at the party were discussing a myriad of issues (peppered with a bit of political talk -- how could there not be so close to the election?

So mouse is comfortable being a bit of both, outspoken enough to direct a conversation away from uncomfortable topics and deferring to Daddy when needed.

Between Daddy and mouse...it's very subtle -- mouse knows all too well his body language and he knows mouse's. So it helps. People say they can tell how much we love each other because we're always looking at each other....LOL

Hugs,
mouse

Glad to see a post and glad to hear the party went well AND you had a great Halloween.
I dressed up one of my babies as a pumpkin too (SO cute!), I bet your little ones were cute too! I just love having kiddos this time of year! Such fun.
Glad to see some kink back!

This comment(question really) is for Omega. How do you know it's the right time to add(or bring back) the spanking or physical stuff? Do you feel that it's just something mouse needs or is it something you both need together. Especially since it's been awhile since TTWD has taken place(this is a guess on my part-as far as length of time between spankings).
Just curious, thank you.

Hi mouse!

Longish time reader but when I decided to check and see if you had posted anything new since your parting post I was overjoyed to see you had updated recently and thought I should be brave and step out of my lurker status. I stumbled upon your blog awhile ago and was fascinated by your story, your courage, and your willingness to share your journey. I often feel I am a curse to blogs, it seems every time I find one that really speaks to me is the time they also decide to stop blogging or due to certain circumstances must discontinue sharing their story. Your blog has been one of the few that I would check on everyday, I enjoyed everything you had to share even the posts of just everyday millings. You have brought so much insight into my life and I just wanted to thank you for that. I hope you do continue to blog from time to time! It's wonderful hearing from you and seeing that you, Daddy and the kiddos are doing well.

Cheers!
