You drink the night away
And forget about everything
As great luck would have it, mouse came down with a cold, well, technically it's been coming on but decided to hit the day she got the staples out. They're out and the sneezy, coughing mouse struggled through trying to pay attention to the doctor. Master got all the real information, mouse missed as she sneezed. No, she doesn't have the flu, or anything else, because Master insisted that they check her out thoroughly before we left. Anyway, most of the restrictions are lifted, but she has to be careful because she still gets tired when she overdoes things. The tears also seem to be a thing still, but she's accepting them and even beginning to embrace them a little.
The cold now has mouse a little worried about disappointing Master because we haven't any sex in forever now. Master said that mouse shouldn't worry about it at all. He is more than willing to wait longer until her cold is over. Hopefully, He won't end up with it or we might NEVER do it again. Right now mouse is a sneezing and coughing mess.
Really mouse is ready for that to happen, she misses Him so much but Master put His own foot down and said a very firm no. Not until she's feeling better, her body is healed and we're both ready. The talks have been wonderful and hard at times. We've covered the past (distant and mutual ), the present, and future. We're probably closer than we've ever felt before and it's odd because we've always felt very close.
Master cooked dinner with mouse's help, which was interesting, the kitchen used to be mouse's sole domaine, and now she's sharing with Him. We managed to stay out of each other's way, and mouse only managed to cut her finger once. It wasn't deep but careless. He clucked that maybe she shouldn't be allowed to handle knives anymore as He put a bandaid on her finger and kissed it. Then she sneezed on Him.
Master did graciously allow mouse a couple cocktails. not very strong, but still went straight her head. He can nurse one scotch all night, but mouse...well she's not that dignified. Usually she slams the first and sips the second quickly. He had the good sense to not allow a third.
But He seemed to like the weirdly happy mouse.
Also Master updated some of the expectations for mouse.

Hi Mouse,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading this. You sound much more like your old self which is so great to see (or read lol).
So glad to hear your recovery is going well and that the staples are out and restrictions lifted. That is fantastic news! Sorry to hear you are now down with a cold. Argh!
I'm not surprised the tears are still there, but it's wonderful you are able to embrace them. LoL on the cocktails. Wonderful that you are talking and feeling closer.
Hugs
Roz
I'm sorry you've caught a cold, but it seems you are in much higher spirits. As Tom Petty says, the waiting is the hardest part, and recovery takes time even if your cleared for a more normal routine. Listening to your body when it calls for rest at this time is so important so that you don't have any setbacks in the long run. And while you take it a bit easier it's nice to have some cocktails to help. Hope you continue to feel stronger each day. It's so nice to hear that you and Omega are even closer than before. Honestly it helps make my heart believe in love again :)
