And the rain...

Yesterday I drove into work only to find out I wasn't needed for the day.  Turned around and came home.  Did I mention it was raining buckets and I just wanted to crawl back into bed?  A phone call saying I didn't need to come in would of been kinda nice but whatever.  Too much to ask.

I was just really really annoyed.  Pissed off to waste my time, but I guess my time isn't worth much these days.

Last night was a mouse movie double feature, thanks to a netflix screw up.  27 Dresses and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.  Two of the biggest pieces of shit movies I have ever wasted time watching.  I dunno maybe I wasn't just into the whole chick flick thing.  Maybe I should have watched something where things get blown up....

Have I mentioned that new James Bond dude is kinda cute in a weird tough guy sort of way?

I hope he doesn't end up singing and dancing too, yanno like Wolverine.

  1. i'm glad you were able to have your movie night, even better a double feature. Sorry work was such a pain, that really was rude of them to not save you the time and trouble. I hope today is much better for you.

  2. Mouse - You always leave me the nicest comments on my blog. It's makes me feel good. Thanks!
Anyway, I too hate when people waste my time. I know what you mean about the movies. I go through phases of liking and avoiding chick flicks. Depends on the mood I guess. You sound frustrated, I hope your day gets better.

  3. That is so rude when work doesn't let you know ahead of time. Sometimes I think it is a game that bosses play. *shrugs*

I am glad I hadn't watched 27 Dresses, it looked funny but I hadn't time yet. So I'll skip it this time around.

I just do not like the new James Bond. I much prefer Sean Connery or Pierce Bronson. *swoons*

  4. Darlin', if he sings and dances just sit back and watch the muscles flex...
(and dream about nuking the clods who can't PICK UP THE FRICKIN' PHONE!!)

Can you sense that I'm feeling your pain?

  5. kitty, thanks...i work with idiots, nothing much else to say.

Ally, Awwww thats sweet of you to sa and i love your comments too.

Gray, ya 27 dresses had a good idea going then, they started on that hollyweird course correction.

Jz...I know you are feeling it too girly...OMG my head is going to explode because this time I called and they did it again....

  6. That would have pissed me off too. You should tell them they owe you gas money for making you drive in for nothing. LOL Last time my job did that to me I told them I wanted a free meal (I worked at a restaurant). The cool part was... they actually gave me one. In fact, the cook made me one of my favorites which happened to be one of the more expensive dishes on the menu! :-D Damn I can be such a brat.

I've never seen either of those movies, but then I like "blow em up" movies anyway. Never got into the chick flicks much. Comedies are okay, but I need the action!

  7. Oh I was totally pissed off and when they kinda did to me again today. Unfortunately I drive a Prius so the gas isn't really an issue (damn it) and I am contracted consultant so I kinda have to put on the big girl panties and deal with it.

  8. Yes the James Bond guy is waaaay sexy in a very strange way. Probably because my inner girl is kinda trampy and this time the had him walk out of the ocean and onto the beach.
