7) Do you accept and/or expect discipline or punishments as a part of your submission? How do you feel about it?

Does mouse have an expectation of punishment? No! Never! It's a horrible thing to be punished!
(stares at the flashing cursor more)
Well, sometimes it's needed. It's important to be held accountable for actions; right? (looks to Daddy while batting eyelashes)
There are times when mouse completely falls short in her duties or becomes too mouthy with Daddy but those are more corrections, since the action is immediate.
A real punishment is warranted when mouse drifts far and away from her purpose and Daddy being the way he is -- he usually doesn't allow mouse to stray too far. But it happens, so yes mouse does expect punishment and maybe part of her requires it. And needs it just a little bit.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Needing it and wanting it are two totally different things.

I hadnt thought of corrections being different than punishment, i dont like either i tend to feel that its making him lower his expectations of me because on the times i have been punished it usually could have been avoided if i had simply behaved the way he expects.

I apologize for posting this as a comment, but I tried to find a way to message you to ask questions, and didn't seem able to.
I actually have a question for Omega.
I'm submissive, have been "out and proud" in the lifestyle for about 5 years now. About a year and a half ago I met and fell in love with my now husband. He identifies as polyamorous, and hedonistic, but not as dominant. Being that we are poly, I have had the option to search for and find a wonderful dominant in my life as well and I feel very very blessed.
But we have this recurring conversation about what it means to be a Dominant. His question is always "what does He (meaning my Sir) do that makes him dominant?" Though I have tried to explain that Dominance is a state of being or mind, I was hoping you might be able to put this into clearer terms for us.
Thank you
Kitten
Dear kitten,
Dominance to me, is not simply a state of mind, but rather a state of being. I remain uncertain if it could be defined in a simplistic way. I suppose, I am guilty of not only being dominant with mouse, but most I am aquatinted with. It possibly includes confidence in oneself, without being boastful or arrogant.
Serve well,
Omega
