Bugs

Everyone here is sick -- either it's a bad cold, flu or Ebola we aren't sure.

Today's agenda includes grocery shopping -- because we're running dangerously low on Fruity Pebbles and Apple Jacks. Yes, mouse is a surely sarcastic one today -- because we all know, one person in the house isn't allowed to be sick.

Daddy said mouse can skip the chores as he asks for the DVD remote and to have mouse put in Apocalypse Now. He also announced he would like some soup. Was that mouse growling or the dog?

As one who can also never be sick, I feel your pain. Try not to growl too loudly, it will only make your throat sore. Trust me, I know.

The only thing worse than being sick with sick kids, is being sick with a sick owner.
*Nods with deep conviction.*

Hope everybody feels better soon!

Hugs Honey. We were sick last week. I found that if mom is curled in a ball under 5 layers of blankets, holding a bucket and crying, the rest of the family gets their fruitloops themselves. I have to be dying to get out of taking care of everyone else. The menfolk? Light case of the sniffles seems to put them down for the count.

Been there. Done that. Thank goodness I had the best mother ever. If I was sick, I'd call her and two hours later, she'd be at the door taking kids and my husband in hand. And I'd crawl back into bed and sleep. I remember that wonderful feeling of being able to go back to bed. Feel better soon
