Do Everything that's in You

It's now the first of May, in just about a little more than month we'll be heading to the lake, which means the blog will again go on hiatus. Daddy's been working somewhat with mouse, to improve the mindfulness thing he wants her embrace. It seems to gently increase the submissive feelings in mouse.

We also decided that mouse will continue to journal her thoughts while we are at the lake, but those posts will be saved until we return. They might be condensed into longer or shorter posts with some maybe saved for the other companion blog. More on that later though.

What currently has mouse twitching was something he mentioned the other night when mouse wasn't supposed to be listening to him but focused on the taste and smell of his cock. He said something about the change in surroundings will give mouse a mental respite from daily constraints so that she can easily be retooled to understand a deeper purpose.

Cryptic no? When mouse paused the sucking action a firm yank brought her back to task. Much quicker mouse was lost in the pleasure of him. Although the thoughts had shifted to replaying mentally what he said and trying to negotiate a meaning for it.

His only answer, when she asked about it later, was that time will tell. Not at all satisfying. It's the closely related cousin of "not an appropriate question, slave." The good news is that the invasion of family and friends is not scheduled for around a month -- at least that's the current plan. In mid August we'll be back for a short time, to get the back-to-school shopping and other things in order, then we have an end of summer trip planned to attend a family wedding.

Until then, it's mouse's job to make sure we have all we'll need for the 2 and a half months. Including, kid toys, bikes, DVDs and gaming stuff that doesn't require Internet (for rainy days). This isn't including the clothes and sandals...swimming stuff, lake floats...

Don't get mouse started on food either. The small town has few amenities, laundry mat this time mouse is hopeful she won't have to use. We had a washer put in toward the tale end of last summer. Clothes will have to line dried though. Which reminds mouse she'll have to bring pegs (can you hear her shudder as she considers what else they will used for). There's an ice cream shop and general store that's hideously overpriced and will be avoided. There is a fancy market around an hour from the lake we'll grocery shop at, so mouse will have to be extra careful on lists.  The biggest thing will be the farmer's market that ran twice a week last summer will hopefully be back.   Hopefully the lemon tree will be feeling generous again this year so we'll have lots of fresh lemonade.

It's a lot of work, but in the end it's totally worth it.

It's also very different from home, since there's no tv, radio or Internet -- there's always some sense or boredom for mouse at least in the beginning, but Daddy assured mouse that won't be an issue this time.

Why do those simple words meant to be a comfort, leave mouse unsettled?

oh my, I visions of you arriving at the lake house and him handing you a huge pile of classic literature that you have to read and make notes on!

Wow, that sounds at the same time like a great vacation and a lot of work. Have fun!

Sounds like an idyllic way to spend the summer.
As for the 'b' word don't mention it. If my kids say they are bored, as soon as I say chore, they miraculously find something to do!

Lol! DF, I use that strategy on my kids too.

Mouse, the whole deeper purpose thing, and the simple words... made my subbie senses tingle from way over here. I'm unsettled for you . Hugs.

Mouse:
I need to thank you for sharing your thoughts. You have helped me in so many ways. I must confess that I have been lurking on your blog a bit trying to find some peace for myself and some truth about some feeling I have hidden for many years. Your musing and revelations have helped me to see some more truth I was afraid to face. I have been married to Beast for almost 18 years and only now have I come to him with a deep need for more. We are raising 3 wonderful boys and I have felt empty, knowing perfectly well there is some very deep "kink" in my soul. I was his one and only ever in ANYTHING and he was definitely not Mine *insert many bad bad things*. In any case, I think I have found my voice with him, and he is surprisingly not afraid so far...so far. How you share your relationship with O and your thoughts has touched me and helped me to be honest with myself and with Beast! We are finding our way, not in a traditional or vanilla way, but a way that works for us. We live on the Left Coast in the land of weird and we are just now embracing our kink, someday maybe I will share why that is such a big deal. He is moving slowly but we are doing it together and I feel so much better! Thank you and I hope to learn more from both you and O.

(mouse's eyes bug out) Yeah and probably not a Jane Austen in the bunch either!

Really that would be nice tho...Could lead to some interesting times... :D

The cryptic answers are the worst.

And it's never advisable to attempt being that cryptic with them (unless it's their birthday).

It's a lot of cooking really (a lot of cooking). Dinners are fairly easy (Daddy will throw something on the grill) but it's all the other stuff that goes along with the main dish...

Plus yummy desserts because there we almost always eat something for dessert (odd huh?).

Isn't that the most amazing thing? They can always find something to do. And you totally know when they've reached their boredom level, because it's when they do actually take you up on the offer.

Daddy used to spend his summer's a place like this as child growing up. He's sentimental that way.

Welcome to our blog and blog family!

On both sides honesty is the one thing that is very needed and cannot be faked.

Hope you comment again!

Oh let's be honest, it really depends on the books...

Daddy's got some...that just are wonderful for summer reading....If one has insomnia or trouble settling down and sleeping....

(yes for a moment he was standing behind her)....shhhh

It makes this Flutterby growl at the Domly one when He gives non specific cryptic answers to questions, which seems to please Him, because He just grins smugly and then refuses to expand on His previous answer *scowl*
I'm sure He only does it so I can torture myself with the possibilities in His absence.

Yes it's exasperating isn't it? The non-answers that are deliberately noncommittal. Scowling and pouting haven't an effect either.
It's good to know mouse isn't alone tho.
