A little more

Good morning,

The weekend was ok, Friday we played and mouse was again marked for her Master's pleasure. Naturally mouse sailed high and dropped. Sub drop again. Saturday, Omega decided to go out for a walk. After much deliberation, he decided a nice trip to the zoo was in order. He told mouse to pack a lunch and off we went. The weather was ok, so we enjoyed the stroll and looking at the animals. At one point mouse became distracted by an animal and turned around to find Omega gone!

Panic rose, even though the cell phone was in her hand, she couldn't think clearly to use it. Had he said something? Don't cry, don't cry. Instead she started to walk fast, like a lost child. Then she saw saw him, his head kinda poking out of the crowd. Soon mouse was there, tears running down her cheeks and nose running.

He gently wiped away the tears with his fingers as he kissed her softly and comforting her that she was safe.

He replaced all the scared feeling in that moment and soon mouse was feeling much better.  In that moment tho, it was as though mouse finally understood the whole "Daddy" thing.

Daddy equals security! Always :)

Oh my goodness, that panic when suddenly you're alone and you don't know where he is... it's scary for me always (and yes, I always think secondarily about the cell phone in my purse).

I had a moment a while back when I finally understood the Daddy thing too... then I filed it away for reference but never for use. It is nice when we finally understand something.

I am glad I'm not the only one who freaks out when I realize I've lost the person I'm with. I hate public places so I'm always firmly attached to my husband.

Mouse,

You're such a great writer, I love reading your posts!

I'm not one to panic when I find myself lost, but crowds give me anxiety. It is very reassuring when someone is with you that is in control and if he's not there it can be unnerving.

Thanks for sharing!

I hate being apart from Asha even at home. When we're out and I lose sight of him, I panic too. It does make you feel like a small lost child in those moments. It's not a fun experience at all.

I am with Mindset .. Daddy = Security!!! I know how I feel when I am separated from Daddy. It is totally scary especially when it hasn't been long since our last play session!

I am also very much this way. That is one of the huge reasons why calling my husband Daddy is so natural to me. He is definitely my security.
