Greys Anatomy

Yes mouse watches that show. Although she missed all of last season, and some of the season before that -- once the baby came..it just wasn't a priority. There was too much more important.

The show streams though on Netflix so last night Daddy had work to do, so mouse settled down and asked permission to catch up -- at least to begin catching up. The goal, such as it is, is to catch up before the next season begins in a couple weeks.

Ok she should have know she needed a box of Kleenex. They killed off Mark Slone! McSteamy is gone! It was bad enough dealing with Lexi's death at the end of the season before it. Sigh...lots of tears

So mouse is sitting there watching and blubbering over a stupid tv show just like a girl. Daddy was soooo not impressed.

He just shook his head and said classic mouse.

Sometimes she just needs a good stupid cry. That's not because she's sad or upset with life...because she's just gotten lost in a story.

There's tears when she reads books too sometimes.

So this is a total bullshit post. Filler...

I'm a fan of Grey's Anatomy too. So I cry at the same things for the same reason. So it's not a bullshit post!

I've sobbed my way through Burn Notice and NCIS before. Sometimes a good cry over a story is just what a girl needs.

I like Little Monkeys comment...more so because I typically don't watch tv at all and don't know what you're talking about. ;)

But what girl doesn't like a beautiful garden!? And you need some 'shit' to make it grow. ;)

mouse, you are definitely not alone! I don't think I ever MADE it thri a single episode of Little House on the Prairie with bawling like a baby. I cried when Anakin turned into Darth Vader! AND I use to cry at Halmark commercials!!! O.o

If it makes you feel better, I was a bawling blubbering mess a couple weeks ago from a marathon of an old show. Meerkat Manor on animal planet. Yes, I bawled my brains out for hours because an oversized rat died and left her family to fend for itself. Seriously. A rat ruined my day. I think we all need those stupid cries once in a while lol

I always cry at something in Grey's Anatomy. Yeah, it's girly. So what? We're girly.

I cry over shows all of the time... just to cry. Parenthood is my fave and I just had to catch up so I could start the new season in about two weeks.

LOL...

The only time Daddy watches anything on TV is when there's sports on. And there's always something sports related on it seems.

Hockey starts like what...Next month....(sighs)

Ohhhhhhhh...

LOVED that show...Seriously growing up mouse wanted to be Laura..feeding chickens and milking cows..The country dreams of a city girl....

Until she saw how big cows were and how scary chickens that aren't wrapped already in plastic could be. LOL

But yes....many of those episodes were just tear jerkers...

MASH was another one that could make mouse cry.. When Edith died on All in the Family (actually it was called Archie Bunker's Place by that time or something)....OMG it was devastating.

I cry over so many shows, it gets ridiculous!! But mcsteamy dying had me in tears for a good few episodes. Sometimes crying at the telly is very cathartic though (I think that's the right word!) and washes away any troubles I have x Sarah

There is something of a catharsis that happens in mouse. It's one thing to shed tears because mouse has done something wrong. It's quite another to shed tears because of a tv show.

After mouse actually feels better, like some unseen tension was released or something!

Thanks for commenting Sarah!
