Didn't want to jinx this, but we sent the kids away (2nd time in three weeks -- yay), and mouse was feeling more than a little anxious. Who wants to spend another weekend cleaning? But this time, with some better planning on mouse's part, things worked out much better. Even practiced getting on her knees while wearing those stiletto shoes. Yes, she lit a ton of candles -- everything looks better in candlelight.
Sinatra on the iPod. Wine chilling...actually it was the same bottle.
Things went much better.
He came home and found mouse just as he wanted. But his day was difficult and he was drained. We fed each other some dinner (pot roast mouse cooked). It was sweet and romantic. He didn't want to talk about his day at all, and said he all kinds of dastardly things planned for our night. Although he did wonder a little if mouse's blog post on Friday had anything to do with it all. But when he read the handwritten letter to him, he could tell that mouse wasn't trying to. However he realized he was just too wiped out. All he wanted to do...
Well, mouse answered that call by diving under the table and pleasured him as he ate. He seemed to enjoy it. After he did the guy thing and fell asleep in his favorite chair (yes the one that doesn't go with anything in the room, well except him), while mouse gave him a foot rub. No choice but to wait until he woke up, since mouse isn't allowed to touch the corset laces and actually she was kinda tired too.
A few hours later he woke and carried mouse upstairs and removed her corset (playfully mouse pretended to sleep). Of course he knew mouse was faking and gave her a few swats on her rear.
Saturday, Daddy kept mouse wrists bound, nude, blindfolded and open to him the whole day and on a very short tether. Gotta say the whole blindfold thing, was super sexy. Lost in that quiet place.
By Saturday night, mouse was coming back but still mostly out of it. Daddy, cooked (yes, he can cook very well) and had mouse assisting him. Which was exactly one too many cooks in the kitchen. As her fog lifted mouse was being a teeny bit critical of his technique with the mushrooms. A swift swat from him on her bottom reminded her who's the chef. He did tell her not to say one word when the garlic burned a little.
The steak he cooked looked way better though and mouse did try to pay close attention to his method. He began the steak on the stove then put it in a hot oven. He wss cooking some veggies and asked mouse to take the meat out of the oven. Now, mouse knew full well the stainless steel pan would be hot...not sure but mouse wasn't thinking and just opened the oven and began to reach with her bare hand! Seriously! It could have been bad,,had Daddy not stopped mouse. (Once mouse took the same pan out of the oven and just placed it on the stovetop, and later grabbed the handle because she was busy and forgot it was hot...It was the kind of hot you couldn't let go of...And it stung for days.)
Now, mouse totally knows her way around the kitchen...really not sure what she was thinking. Coupled with being limited somewhat to process things correctly mouse began to cry. Daddy was very concerned and blamed himself. He got a mitt and pulled the steak out, then he held mouse and dried her tears. He apologized for yelling.
We don't get to do any of this very often so guess we also forget the effect it has on mouse.
The dinner was good.
We didn't play the rest of the night, although mouse couldn't get out of that headspace. Sunday morning mouse was feeling wonderfully contained and decided to cook breakfast, since his mom would be dropping the kids off in the morning. Daddy helped assisting mouse this time. It was fun cooking together.
Sunday night with the kids in bed, we just cuddled. Really mouse was mentally drained and feeling a little emotional.

i grab things out of the oven like that sometimes! It's always something i started on the stovetop and finish in the oven. The handle is there and just grab it. Only nobody saves me 'cause i'm the only cook in the kitchen...
what a lovely weekend mouse.
xo,
mg
Yea...I have reached into the oven and grabbed a smoldering hot pan without a mitt. Felt like an idiot, but on the bright side, I think that we've all done it!
yeah, we've all done it... *holds up scared fingers shame facedly*
I'm very good at taking something out of the oven, with mitts on, then taking them off and completely forgetting the dish has just come straight out of the oven and find my fingers reaching out....
When my husband is chef, I am forbidden to help.... unless it is gravy.... he doesn't take kindly to back seat cooks.
glad your weekend went well.
how I envy you, mouse :)
Sounded like a lovely weekend mouse, always envious when i read about your cooking here and on your mostly mouse blog...i enjoy cooking but im not very good at it!
x
i have more scars than i care to mention from not staying focused in the kitchen... It sounds as if you had a wonderful weekend, i sometimes forget how hard fish slices and frying pans can be and when i make the odd comment when MK is in the kitchen, He makes sure that i am reminded. Have a wonderful week.

Mouse,
What a perfect weekend. I love a man who can cook.

Even those plastic handles that "keep cool" require a mitt.
Normally mouse is the only cook in the kitchen.

It sucks doesn't it? Actually mouse's error isn't so much with taking them out of a hot oven...
It's more with placing on the stove and forgetting it was just in the oven.
Hugs and <3
Good to know mouse is in such good company then :)
That is exactly what mouse does!! Do you try to drape an oven mitt over the handle or whatever to warn/remind you it's hot?
Daddy's a pretty good cook, but yes, he doesn't take advice well.
It's just that mouse understands which pans need a bit more oil and which ones to avoid unless you're making a gravy or something like that...
And you NEVER ever use the brass polenta pot for anything but polenta. LOL
Hugs,
mouse
*blushes*
It really was wonderful! And there wasn't a punishment....
After play of any kind mouse is more or less mentally mouse lacks any real focus. How long that lasts depends on the play and how long it lasts...
Spanking just makes mouse feel more submissive to him....Other things..intensify those feelings...
Hugs,
mouse
He can totally cook a steak....He can cook fish too but mouse can't eat it...
Hugs,
mouse
